There are two possible reasons: heat stress or root infection. Here’s how to address these issues:
- Prevent heat stress: If the weather has been very hot, stones around the plant may have absorbed excessive heat, causing the succulent to shrink. May remove surface stones and replace them with perlite, which retains less heat and helps maintain soil aeration and stable temperatures.
- Improve root health: Spray Mr Ganick Organic Plant Acid RTU once a week or apply Mr Ganick Cactus & Succulent Food to the soil. This strengthens roots, prevents fungal infections, and enhances nutrient absorption.
