The scorched appearance is most likely caused by an insect pest known as mirid bugs (also called capsid bugs). These pests suck the sap from young leaves, causing them to dry out and appear burnt.
Recommended treatment:
- Severe Stage:
Mix 30–40ml Mr Ganick Ultimite + 1 pump Mr Ganick Silwet in 20L of water. Spray every 5–7 days, for 3 consecutive applications.
- Maintenance / Recovery Stage:
Mix 25ml Mr Ganick Ultimite + 1 pump Mr Ganick Silwet in 20L of water. Spray every 14 days to maintain protection.
