Organic Certification Subsidy
Home / CSR Malaysia / Help Malaysia Organic Grow / Organic Certification Subsidy
We understand that “Organic Certification” is important to help boost the growth of the Malaysian organic industry. This is also key in helping consumers to identify genuine organic vegetables and products in the market. Nonetheless, the application fees for organic certification, which are financially substantial in nature, create a problem to farmers in general.
In order to reduce the burden of farmers, we have set up a funding instrument called the “Malaysian Organic Certification Fund” which is contributed to annually from our business revenue. Farmers who are interested to apply for any organic certifications, which fulfill internationally-recognized organic standards, can opt to apply for our organic certification subsidy. Upon passing the inspection procedures, farmers will be provided with the organic certification subsidy. Though this, we hope to accelerate the growth of the organic industry in Malaysia.
