Ants basically don’t harm plants, as the soil is their home, occasionally they will help spread pollen.
However, if it really bothers you, you can try following methods to reduce their population.
Method 1: Mr Ganick Ant Bait natural ant attractant:
-Natural, non-toxic, and safe to use in the kitchen
-Put it in a place where the ants will pass (the place must be dry, not directly in the soil)
Method 2: If there is no dry space in the place where the ants pass by, or they are all in the soil, then you can try the following methods:
1. Boric acid, 1gm mixed with 2L water
2. Copper sulfate, 1gm mixed with 1L of water-spray on the leaves of the plant.
Application Method:
3. Spray diluted boric acid first
4. After 3-4 days, spray diluted copper sulfate,
5. After another 3-4 days, return to boric acid.
Repeated spraying for a period of one month, I believe the number of ants will be reduced.
